No Doubt, That guy isn't just power-mad.. he's power angry,power disgruntled etc...He was on the air this morning already taking the PD's place. Apparently he is under the impression that he can do it all. Angry, power-mad, power-hungry, megalomaniac, loose cannon, hopped up, tweaking, hard drinking, cigar chomping, over-zealous, rat bastard is more like it. And I am sure he does read these boards all the time and from what I hear he is one of the idiots who believes everything that is posted. Which is why no one likes him. I mean the guy has no friends inside or outside of radio. Kind of like the reason he doesn't have a girlfriend, who could stand to be around anyone who has to challenge others to love him as much as he loves himself.

However are you sure that was Brent this morning? I know he was on yesterday morning, but when my alarm went off I could have sworn it was King's voice comin' through those speakers.Doesn't matter really,I'm sure they were both tracked.Did he work with Boyle? Didin't Boyle work for another company? I never heard him on the air.

So if I am reading this thread right, this guy is a very fat, ugly, cigar smoking, tweaker/drunk that no one has ever liked? If he is so bad, why don't more people leave those stations? Sounds to me like he would smell bad. Even thought I have never met this guy, I would like to advise everyone to hold their noses as they walk by this guy. Anyone who smokes cigars is nasty, nasty, nasty and stinky, stinky stinky. I nice air freshener would be a great idea for this guy's car and his office. No one likes a stinky boss. I know I wouldn't. I would quit if I had a a stinky boss. If I had a stinky boss I would buy him a bar of soap and a bottle of cologne and tell that S.O.B. to wash up before the come into my presence. Why hasn't anyone done that yet? The smell in Bakersfield is bad enough without someone else making it worse. Please please please, someone stop this guy from making the air any worse. I would make sure it is a nice soap that has a lather. Those soaps work best. Kind of like Irish Spring, Coast or Zest. That's it, give him a bar of Zest, from what I head that and Coast Deoderant Body soaps clean you and wake you up. Then if he gets cleaned up he can wake up and get the hell out of Bakersfield. We convinced others to leave, we can convince this guy to do the same. Get the right soap, open his eyes and wake his ass up. We have train tracks, lets ride him out on a rail. I can not stand this guy. I have never met him, but I can't stand him. Stinky people need to be told to go away. Let's show people like this who's boss. WE ARE!!! People like that can't force us to smell their foul stench any longer.<P ID="signature">______________

This all started about Lee Logan leaving KBKO...and evolved into a weird-*ss discussion about CC's OM. I'm not really sure what to think about CC after all this. They were just starting to seriously move up on KUZZ, and their PD is gone. Now they have the promotions director as APD, the guy who put the station on the air is still there on the morning show, but not PD (even interim) and everyone here blames the OM. Half of the comments here on the OM were so far out there, I'm starting to think HE is the one posting under a variety of names. Sad to be arguing with yourself really. What is he more concerned with...the stations he oversees or the crap people say about him here?

Does anyone know the real reason Logan left? I haven't even heard a rumor about it.
The programming decision is weird, although I would figure that the APD is getting some help. If he has no experience, I'm sure the morning guy and the OM are helping out. Since the station is finally making a little progress, they're not going to let one guy screw it up. Then again, does anyone know where he's worked before Bakersfield? Maybe he does have experience, just not country.

I'm not sure if people who have posted have worked for him at CC. This is such a small town and everyone knows everyone. You have to look at how many people have wanted to get out since the OM has been there. Karma is a bitch and if he is as bad as people say he will get his in time. I have friends there and they are all unhappy.

It isn't unusual for Promotions Directors to become PDs. Look at Dan Bowen at Star 94 in Atlanta. That is where he came from and he has been very successful for many years.
As for the previous discussion. Weird is one way of putting it. But I did giggle a bit when I was reading it.
