KBKO has sounded different as of late. Have they hired a consultant? First, they drop the title/artist thing, Toni Marie is out. It seems the music mix isn't quite as current as KUZZ either. Anyone know of any other changes?
 
It sounds more like it did when it came on the air...more Gold than currents. I like the "Bakersfield's Country" slogan much better than the WSIX rip-off. I heard them announce they're starting to carry Nascar. That may make a dent for them as it's certainly KBKO's one niche. There sales staff is really hitting the streets with it, I followed one chick into 6 different clients today, and most were sold on Nascar.
