KBMB Gets a New Morning Show

Yeah 103.5 the bomb got a new morning show host i think. I didn't get up to hear the whole morning show, so I don't know what happened or who hosted it today or if they made any kind of annouancement? I will go on their website to see if there is anything yet psoted or search for it.
But Yeah Short E has been in the morning with Famous and Lady Stephanie ever since Davey D left 103.5 the bomb morning show .
and today Short -e went back to drive time afternoon 2p-6p . so I knew something happend.
I wonder what happened and who the bomb hired or what the bomb said in the morning today ??
I would have loved to host the morning show.
I wonder if it will be someone we know or someone new ??
Budman and Boogger form KSFM are cool they aren't in radio , I guess they used to work with bomb Program director Mrs. Pattie Moreno before.
I'd like to see Budman and Boogger
or Mixxula, but Mixxula left the bomb a few years back, I think he doesn't have intrest in getting back in radio. he has other jobs and gigs, good for him but I miss Mixxula in radio. Mixxula is a good man .
how about another Sacramento radio alumni Latin Rascal, he would be big too , he swithches radio jobs a lot but I think he is doing good in Huston with his co host Chico . But I remember Latin Rascal he is cool

well it looks like it's Big Boy is coming to 103.5 the Bomb this Monday for the morning show. Tune in to 103.5 the Bomb.

or what about this if Willie Barcena , remember him. He was funny, he was on KSFM , he is a famous , and funny comedian . I don't think he wants to be in radio anymore.

Well it wasn't big news at all.
I did not like the 103.5 the bomb morning show, this is a weird day in terms of radio listening to the bomb.
this guy named Big Boy is the new morning show host , he's a syndicated show, I think his show is based ou of LA . Today he interviwed Paula Abdaul which was kind of dumb it was all right.
he calls his show Big Boys's neighborhood. Is he Mister Rogers too ??
his show I guess comes on many other radio stations, he 's not a good show.
there is no caller/listener interaction in syndicated hip hop music radio shows. It suck, I'm not af an of the bomb's lates move. but sports sydicated shows have caller / listener interaction because they are caller driven. But not hip hop syndicated shows they don't put listenrs on and callers on, so I don't like it, and usually their coverstations on air suck becuase, all they talk about is celebrity news because they don't focus on Sacramento or where you live and listen at because other people don't follow Sacramento news and happenings and what's going on . i thought the Bomb was done with syndicated hip hop morning show after Doug Banks show moved.
They should have kept Davey D where we can call in and talk to him or they should have got local guys, I think Roo , he was on KSFM, he's available ,or Budman and Booger they are available, plus they have worked with Mrs. Pattie Moreno before at another station. The Bomb could have got Mixxula to come back too.
But i guess the bomb and radio in general are making cuts and they are not shelling out cash just like all other companies and the economy the radio is going down I guess.
Well if it was up to me I would have got a local guy, in the first palce i would have not let Davey D go, that was a dumb move.

Roo or Budman and Booger would be a great choice. I would say Roo over B&B, just because Roo is one awesome guy that I used to work with. I would almost say he is fantastic. In fact I would say he is fantastic, HE IS FAN-TAS-TIC (inside joke in case Roo is reading this).
There is a reason why Davey D got fired from KSFM, and let go at The Bomb. I will not go into it too much, but he digs his own graves a lot. I never worked with the guy, but I know plenty of people who have at both stations. They all say the same stories. But besides that, he has a loyal fan base and is great with the listeners. He may have fizzled out in this market, but if he went to Chico, Stockton, or Modesto he would OWN that market.

I know why Davey D got fired from KSFM, because Byron Kennedy and other management wasn't treating Davey D right they siad Davey was an alcoholic they said he was on meds and drugs too and verbally abused him after he got fried, they slandered his name. and one day Davey D on the air was telling stories about his bosses and coversations he was having with them it's because Davey D like to share information with the listeners and the bosses didn't like Davey sharing information and they canned him for it . That's not cool , Davey D is a good radio host and nice man. Davey D and KSFM management both took the matte to court because Davey D said management the firing was unjustly . I know it was complicated but I followed the story and I worked at KSFM too for a little bit on Fridays in 2004 as Tony Tecate's co host and I am a radio caller and I was following the story.
But I know radio is cut throat bussiness and there is no loyalty. I don't know why Davey was let go at the bomb this time? I know he is missed by a lot of radio listenrs including myself. they said it was rating but i don't think so. maybe because they didn't want to pay him any more, I know a lot of companies are cutting people because the economy is poor and a lot of people are losing job , but radio has never been a dependable job.
I hope Davey d comes back. Do you think he can go to 107.9 the end or do you relly think he fizzled out like you said ? I hope not .

I like Kwin too.
But I am Davey D's fan base, I consider him my friend Davey D is my friend.

Because Big Boy is based out of La , there is no interaction with the listenrs / callers . I don't quite know how to react to the new morning show. He reminds me of Man Cow in some ways, but without the quick momentum.
I hope this show works out for KBMB, maybe I just need to get used to it. Since I am not a big KBMB listener to begin with, I have little invested in the station anyway. For AM drive, I keep finding myself stopping on KSTE AM. A guilty admission, to say the least.
Either way, the Bomb has a lot going for it! The local jocks are really top notch. The station sounds simply incredible! They make KSFM sound tinny and lifeless in comparison. The music is really right on for the target demo. They steer clear of a lot of American Idol winners and focus on the 'pros' when it comes to music. I am easily bored with Idol contestants on the radio all the time. That is the main reason I can't stand KDND anymore. So, mad props to you, KBMB! I hope your new morning show works for you.
I hope this show works out for KBMB, maybe I just need to get used to it. Since I am not a big KBMB listener to begin with, I have little invested in the station anyway. For AM drive, I keep finding myself stopping on KSTE AM. A guilty admission, to say the least.
