Kbpk. 90.1.

They are in Los Angeles. Just wondering who owns them. They play good variety.

Not owned by Cumulus. I heart. Or CBS. Radio. I'm impressed by their music.

Owned by the Buena Park School District, and are 19 watts at 10 meter antenna height... just covers a few miles around Buena Park. It's obviously non-commercial, as it is below 92.1 so none of the big station owners (except ones like EMF that are non-commercial) would own anything in that part of the band.

Here is a good link for you to bookmark:

http://www.fcc.gov/encyclopedia/fm-query-broadcast-station-search

It's the FCC's FM Search. Just plug in the call letters and it will find all the relevant data on any FM you are curious about. You can also search by location and other keys. They also have little coverage maps you can look at.

KBPK is part of the Fullerton College broadcasting program. Unlike many college stations, it is staffed entirely by students and is designed to give prospective broadcasters enough working knowledge of radio to enable them to get an entry level job. There are quite a few KBPK alumni working in LA radio today, including; Christina Kelly at KRTH, airborne traffic reporter, Bill Thomas, KLOS production director extraordinaire, Stew Herrera, Lisa Osborne (not sure where she's at right now), and me.
