KBTX anchor charged with fraudulent prescriptions

Oooh... that's harsh, when your own station reports your arrest.
Remember the KSAT anchor who was arrested 7 years ago? He anchored the 6:00pm, then was the lead story on the 10:00. His wife tuned in expecting to see him anchor, instead saw him led away in his tee-shirt by police, on a most heinous charge.
 
Well, KSAT's had a couple of issues with anchors. One got busted for either kiddy porn or soliciting a minor. I can't remember which and I want to say his name was Gerry Grant. Is that right? If not, I apologize. The other was Maury Vasquez, who was a Sports Anchor/Reporter at KENS, before his contract wasn't renewed and KSAT hired him as a General Assignment Reporter. He was charged with spousal abuse or battery. Something to that nature.
 
I'm impressed with the way Channel 3 handled this situation. It would have been easy for them to ignore it and let the paper handle it. Good for them for doing it the right way.
