Essentially, with CBS-owned stations becoming the CW affiliate in S.F. and Detroit, AM Media is backing away from the deal (even though they apparently have not cancelled it), and Granite has been getting inquiries from parties interested in acquiring the stations as affiliates.
Granite might well end up getting more than $180M when the dust clears.<P ID="signature">______________
