KBXX 97.9 splattering

Has anyone else noticed 97.9 KBXX splattering across 97.7 and 98.1 (bits and pieces barely audible under a silence, blocking out the regular static). this happened a few weeks ago and then stopped, and then started up again. I don't think it it my radio because only 97.9 seems to be doing this...

I have not noticed this & I listen to 97.9 from time to time. I have noticed that 95.7 splatters more than another other station in Houston you can here it all they way down to 95.3 & all the way up to 96.1

Out on the west side, I have no trouble at all getting KVET 98.1, even with 97.9 IBOC sidebands. All it takes is a directional antenna. I am probably no more than 20 miles from the Mo City towers - I don't know what you all are observing.

Does anyone know if Houston is testing full 10db gain on their stations? I can't get 97.7 like I use to could along with 97.9., I havn't hooked back up my HD Radio down there since I put it up.

KUHF was involved in the NPR Labs test and has Special Temporary Authority to run at the higher power through January. I think that's the only one around here.
