Is KBYS FM ever going to be back at 4000 watts like before Hurricane Laura. Because right now they don’t get out as far as before and they are not in hd like before also
 
According to FCCInfo, they are operating at 1000 watts from their old site due to tower damage from Hurricane Laura. I suspect it will be a while longer.
 
They were on the STL tower at KPLC TV that fell over. The backup site on top of Laburge Casino has shading due to where the antenna is mounted and as noted above, has less power out. Until KPLCs tower gets rebuilt, it will be a while until KBYS gets back to full power
