KBZT

Oooh, direct shot at you Chris! I hope they stick with it and fix it. I put that station on and it was a great effort by a lot of people to be something unique. Come on guys, get refocused and stay with it.

Chris, don't make me expose you for the ignorant $lut you are.
Snakes alive, I won't! Make it a good day!

Every day I'm still looking down at the grass is a good day. Mostly.

That's a good note ... check your PM here. See you on the hiking trail!

I can't hike anymore. Bad arthritis in the right hip. But I did make Phantom Ranch to the south rim in four hours flat, which was 30 minutes better than the ranger said she could do it.

With such a dishonest feed to the 4th estate, KBZT's management better not be surprised if they fail to get any future publicity.

I am just so puzzled as the why Lincoln Financial DOESN'T want to flip that station. They could do any format and get higher ratings, thus sell airtime for more $. 94.9 is a really strong signal that's being wasted on a small audience.

I thought it would be smart to flip 94/9 to something more mainstream and then put the KZBT Alternative format on 92.1 since 97.3 covers most all that 92.1 does. I never understood the point of that simulcast...

The point of the 92.1 simulcast is to cover vast areas of North San Diego country that is very problematical for 97.3, and at the time, the demographics were such that there was a huge underserved country audience. It paid off big time when Tony and Kris went to KUSS and people that wanted to listen to them couldn't get a clear signal, but you could hear the hell out of 97.3/92.1.
