KC 101.3

I know that by playing a liner in-between songs is a good way to segue from one song to another that doesn't fit in (which is what they did), but really what kind of segue is Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO into Smooth by Rob Thomas/Santana?

I think, sadly, KC 101 has fallen into complete irrelevance. Not sure why Smooth would even be playing, it's 12 years old!

And the train wreck at 101.3 continues!!!! Just now I heard Mmmbop by Hanson into a recently released Niki Minaj song. Mmmbop came out during my freshmen year in high school. I was a high school freshmen from September 1996 until June 1997.

Seems like Michael Maze who used to work for KC 101 back in the day now works at Fresh 102.7 as I just heard him on there. Figured it be the same guy. How long has it been since Maze hasn't been on KC?

It's a station that still appeals to its core demographic and to advertisers targeting that demographic, and that demographic is not radio format geeks. The average listener would never hear those two songs and think "trainwreck." That's not a term they associate with radio.

Maybe filling in on FRESH 102.7? He's on Radio 104.1 WMRQ afternoons 3-7 Monday-Friday. And I think it's been a year since KC-101 got rid of Maze in favor of the UnFunny Elvis Duran Show. And yes I tried listening to it.

Maybe filling in on FRESH 102.7? He's on Radio 104.1 WMRQ afternoons 3-7 Monday-Friday. And I think it's been a year since KC-101 got rid of Maze in favor of the UnFunny Elvis Duran Show. And yes I tried listening to it.

"The Unfunny Elvis Duran Show".....a.k.a. CHR's premiere morning show if you're going off the bird.

The ratings speak for themselves.
