......WOW!!.............

Anyone still wondering why he's no longer on the Stern show?..........unbelievable how far off the deep end he's gone.

>He called into Stern a few weeks ago. Apparently, he was in drug rehab.

Is there something in the water at K-ROCK?

First, Crazy Cabbie went nuts, and now KC.

KC was a good guy, Howard should give him a 4th or 5th chance.

I always figured it was drugs, not gambling. Too bad hope he lands on his feet!

I think Howard has learned that (As wonderful as Artie is) you cannot replace guys like Jackie, John and K.C.. People identify with some of these bit players for years.

Howard said he is going to mend some fences before they go to eh-eh-eh. What do you think he meant by that?

1.I wouldn't put the Jackie in the same boat as John and K.C.,Jackie is far better IMO
2.I was hoping he would dump Artie and Sal before he goes to satellite, freshen up his show a tad.

Crazy Cabbie was one of the primary reasons Stern had such a horrible winter book a couple of years ago..how this guy ever got into a studio for a shift by himself is beyond me..

Getting Jackie back would only help the show..Martling knew how to write for radio..and one of the things the Stern show has missed since his departure were the song parody bits and such..

Losing Artie Lang is going to happen at some point..he wants to do movies and eventually a sitcom, if he can clean up his act..a lot of stations would have had not hesitated to cut him loose after his antics in Las Vegas last year..funny T-V for E!..but lousy radio all around..anybody else notice that even when on air, his contributions are hardly acknowleged anymore?

I think the best part of Stern is the Whack Pack...when Beetlejuice, Daniel Carver, John the Stutterer, Slow Adam, Elephant Boy, et al. are on, it's entertaining. When the co-hosts yell and scream at each other, that sucks. I know that Stuttering John burned a bridge when he left, but he was the best co-host on the show. Those guerilla interviews were a hoot. I really miss him. I get tired of idiots like Ronnie the Limo Driver saying, "Whatever" when someone is arguing with him. Artie tries to stick his two-cents in at untimely places, and tries to put the focus on himself, which takes away from the discussion. He reminds me of John Belushi in appearance...overweight, unshaven, hung over. Not nearly as funny or talented, though.

Replacing Stuttering John with that no-talent perverted loser Richard Christy was the biggest mistake they made. "HAAAY, HOWARD. I SPENT ANOTHER FRIDAY NIGHT JERKING OFF TO A PORN VIDEO...AIN'T THAT COOOOL?"

The best Wack Pack member of all time was Hank the Angry Drunken Drawf..his battles over music trivia led to ''Stump the Booey''...the guy was smart, funny and one of the most entertaining people on the show..

Stuttering John's move was a push of the panic button..he had just lost full time hours and AFTRA benefits when he was sacked from his noon to one gig..he left right after the Super Bowl Boob appearance, when it looked like the show might be gone for good..plus the gig he got from Leno was too good to turn down when it was offered..remember that everybody on the show was suddenly booking every appearance they could find in the pre Sirus days, when it looked like everything was coming to an abrupt end..

I can't tune out fast enough when BeetleJuice makes one of all too often apperances..can't stand him..period..

"John... you have a choice... you can wake up at 3am every morning for a radio show where you constantly have to push the envelope, or you can work in TV, make tons more money, live in California, and have normal (as opposed to the Stern show) working hours"

I don't blame John in the slightest. With the Tonight Show gig, he's upped his Q and visibility rating that even if he loses the TV gig, he'll get hired by a radio station and not have to worry about groveling back to Howard.

Christ, if Bonaduce can still get gigs... John would have no problem.
