KCCY not listed in Nielsen for Colo Springs

Why is it that KCCY is not listed in the ratings for Colorado Springs, but they are for Pueblo? They are owned by iHeartMedia, who subscribes to Nielsen, and they've always been in the top 3 in the market if not #1 for decades. Surely it's not an LMA situation. It's not signal problems, either. Is it?

The other iHeartMedia stations are listed. Why not KCCY?

The station is home to Pueblo, and iHeart may not find it economically viable to pay for ratings in a second market. If you do not pay, you are not listed.

Wouldn't they make more money selling the numbers in Colo Springs? Or can they sell them in Springs anyway, since they theoretically pay for Pueblo? It's market #90 vs. market #233.

Neither is a market with lots of agency business. Local sales are generally not very ratings-based... local accounts use the cash register as a rating.

I checked the Nielsen subscriber list for Colorado Springs and it is not subscribed.

Remember, ad agencies get the full data... including non-subscribers. So regional agency business, mostly out of Denver, will have access.
