Has anyone listened to KCDA lately, especially online? They've been my station for the last couple of days and what a mess! Not sure I like the consumer reports blurbs they've got during breaks as of a couple of weeks ago. Now however, they are also cutting off some of the music on the stream in favor of commercials, then the music will cut in in the middle of the song. Also, I heard the same out of date trafic report over and over yesterday afternoon, obviously a prerecord from yesterday morning. Honestly I've never understood why they run trafic anyway, it's usually one quick thing per commute. Usually it's something like trafic is heavy but running smoothly on the interstate and the arterials. Any thoughts?

That's just traffic in Spokane. It NEVER varies. It's always the usual culprits at work......Any time of day. They just like to sound important I guess.
But seriously, it's not unusual to hear a LOT of repeated crap on these voicetracked Eastern Washington stations. Guess nobody makes solid expiry dates on these things......

Clear Channel normally runs a good ship in Spokane. Fixable technical issues lasting longer than a few minutes - Odd for them.
