KCET Announces Digital Channel Lineup

PBS World would be a good fit on one of KLCS's subchannels, maybe at 58.4 to replace the telecourses, unless they have the room to add a fifth subchannel.

KCET came close to dropping PBS World 2 years ago because of the extra cost it incurred. Since KLCS doesn't have pledge drives I wouldn't expect to see it appear there. Cross your fingers for KOCE to pick it up when they finish cleaning out the stench that was Sezmi.

On the News Hour last night, Jefferey Brown closed by noting that Los Angeles viewers should tune in KOCE to watch the show, starting next week.

50.4 appeared today.
PSIP data has it labeled WORLD.
No program data or even a picture as of yet but come midnight or sometime over the weekend it should light up.
