KCGG-LP now on 105.7

It's now on 105.7 FM... No FCC modification to change channels or anything but their Spanish Christian programming is on 105.7... Meanwhile nothing is on 100.7 so maybe they just moved the channel. They just bought out the AM classic country station in the area as noted in another thread... Also for the past few days, when they were on 100.7, their signal has been a lot stronger than usual so maybe they recently turned up the power and now changed channels. It's crazy they're from a church and this nonlegal stuff's happening...

Now it's off the air, but an hour ago it was on 105.7 still.

It's now back on 100.7. That was weird for almost 3 days though.

Guess who's been on 105.7 again today?

KCGG-LP is the winner! But not like they'll get caught LOL

Both their FM signals are off today. I assume they're fixing the frequency, and since nobody cares I don't either. So this is the last update unless they stay on the wrong channel for several days. LOL I remember an Air 1 signal in Houston did this recently for a few days.

Back on 105.7 earlier today at last check, came back shortly after my last post. I'll update when it gets back to 100.7.

KHJK was on somewhere else than 103.7?

The station is now dead air, KCGG-LP is still on 105.7 but no audio is playing. It's also stronger than usual. Maybe waiting on an engineer to change the channel back?

The programming is back. LOL still on the wrong channel. Let's see if this lasts longer than it did in August.

I emailed them in Spanish and got a reply.
"Ya resolvimos el problema, cuando fueron a darle mantenimiento al transmisor le cambiaron la frecuencia, pero ya está corregido, gracias por su seguimiento."

It's now on 100.7 again. Basically they said whoever waas maintaining the transmitter changed the frequency. LOL

I noticed over the past couple weeks that 100.7 KCGG-LP has been very weak. It's as if it's now just maybe a couple watts at most. Still simulcasting all their other stations 92.7 1030 and 1410. I'd make 100.7 different though since same area as 92.7.

Dude, you got more free time that I have. If I was keep up with every radio station, like you, my life would be very dull and boring indeed. Just saying!

LOL, I don't care enough to post immediately after I notice changes. I just check the dial every few days.

Does WPJB have a website or Facebook page? Can't find much.

No we don't. Future plans call for me to stream the station, once I get my money built up again. Just spent a good bit replacing the transmitter and now setting up new Internet Access. Hope to begin the streaming thing, by the end of the year.
