KCHV-LP channel 30, Houston

To the list...

KCHV-LP is up and running...tone and video. It's at the American Tower site in Missouri City, main lobe pointed towards Houston (where else?). I'd be curious to see if anyone on the list can catch this one while it's up and running.

I'm seeing KCVH-LP (correct call) with a pretty decent signal at my Cy-Fair location...seems a little stronger than it was in its previous LAT-TV incarnation. Looks like the long awaited Aleluya TV is about to launch. Currently running a video loop that says "Viene pronto a Houston" (coming soon to Houston) and various Aleluya TV logos, along with a tone.

Guess they are going with analog for the time being, although I had heard the transmitter (in the LAT-TV days) was digital capable. Haven't had any analog signals on the air here since the three-week KHMV/28 tests last fall.

Aleluya TV will of course be religious programming, probably very similar to KVQT. Wonder if they'll get placed on Comcast? The other LPTV's already have cable carriage.

KCVH is off the air today (Sunday) after a week of graphics/logos and tone. Perhaps an actual launch is about to happen...or there has been some sort of delay...?
