KCIT tv 50 Kansas City

I found a neat website for anyone from the Kansas City area about a short lived independent station KCIT TV 50.

I've seen that site, a nice tribute to a member-in-good-standing of the UHF Morgue. Ever since, I've wanted to see some retro Kansas City listings from that time period. The way this guy described it, the network's stations were so preemption-happy that KCIT was the de facto network station, and the three VHFs were the indies.

His story about the old round-tube console was amusing, though.

I've been on that site a few times already...very concise and interesting. They basically got put out of business by the upstart KBMA (now KSHB) Channel 41, plus KCIT wasn't making any money at the end.
