KCKL is mired in FCC troubles. Rich Flowers the news director has been trying to look for another gig. He maybe already gone. Advertisers (except for friends of the GM, owner and one sales person)have dried up. You can go to Mabank, Athens, Tool ,7Points and Gun Barrel City and you will hear other stations playing Country. The GM still wants her personal jukebox, and still wants to be mayor of Malakoff. In short she loves power in her kingdom.Their webpage is 3 years old and hasn't been updated since because nobody at the station knows how. The PD is the PD in name only and does the morning show, and that's it. Adabeth is too stuborn to sell the money losing KLVQ,and won't sell the FM either. The station had potential 3 years ago with the PD then. The problem was the GM didn't like him getting publicity, talking to Adabeth about Programming ideas without going through the GM(Adabeth liked them by the way).He was told by the GM "You don't understand your'e not from around here" many times over. Finally a salesperson screwed up the name of a remote, but the GM blamed the PD.That was it for him, and he told her she needed to touch base with reality once in a while andl eft
