KCKY building shown on ABC

Today's ASU/UA football game (carried by KNXV, and other ABC affiliates in the western one-third of the country) included a feature about the late Waylon Jennings. The reporter was standing in front of the KCKY (1150 AM Coolidge) studios (Waylon briefly worked at that station.)

The KCKY building looks a lot better now than it did when I was looking for work in the early 80s. As I remember, all there was then was a couple of really old turntables inside of a trailer parked about 50 yards from the main highway. Further east down the road was, at that time, was what appeared to be a state of the art building by comparison, which was the home of KQEZ (?). Thank God I landed a job in Phoenix before having to make that serious drive everyday.
