KCNC 4 Picks Up Oprah Winfrey

I know I was told to post replies on the Denver radio board but Denver is not the only city where Oprah moved 5/29. San Diego and Salt Lake are two more that come to mind. Anyone know of others???

::) "Queen" Oprah will never leave WFSB-TV/DT (CBS) channel 3/D 33 of Hartford. After all, her best friend, Gayle King, was an anchorwoman with the station from (I think) 1982 to 1999. The only competition in that time slot here (4 PM ET) is "Ellen" on WVIT-TV/DT (NBC) channel 30/D 35 of New Britain/Hartford.

I remember Oprah being on KATN for a brief period in 1995 as a lead-in to Entertainment Tonight, probably because KTVF forgot to renew the show in Fairbanks (they started carrying it in 1990). Thankfully, Oprah returned to KTVF in September 1996 in time for her 11th season.Jonathan Allen

I for one look forward to when Oprah retires. It's rare she has anything on worth watching. Monday's, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays I watch 8 Simple Rules on WB20 4PM-5PM. Wednesdays I watch Montel on UPN 9. Wednesday is when Montel has Physic Silvia Browne on.
"WB 20" and "UPN 9" are in the Hartford/New Haven TV market. Also, "UPN 9" is actually UHF channel 59 and digital channel 39. WCTX-TV advertises with their cable positioner, which is quite annoying.
