KCOH Houston sold

Bad news, heritage urban AM KCOH-AM Houston has been sold to a church in Houston. This could very likely mean the end of its urban format which the station has had since the early 1950s. I particularly like Don Samuel's oldies shows, and southern soul, blues, and r and b oldies at night and overnight. This station has quite a history in Houston and is one of only a few of a kind left across the U.S. In the past few years, we lost WESL-AM East St. Louis and WDAS-AM Philadelphia.

I hope the new owner will at least keep some gospel programming.
