KCPQ cuts away from World Series for infomercial

Imagine you’ve invested three and a half hours of your life into watching a championship sporting event. Then imagine that after three and a half hours, when the event reaches its final crescendo and climax, the game broadcast abruptly ends for an infomercial right as it’s about to reach its conclusion. You’d be pretty upset, right?

That’s apparently what happened to baseball fans watching Game 5 of the World Series in Seattle last night. Many people took to Twitter to complain about Q13 Fox cutting away with two outs in the top of the ninth inning and the Cubs clinging to a 3-2 lead… for a glasses infomercial.

That’s right, a glasses infomercial. Baseball fans were less than pleased…
