KCRA-3.2 Sacramento Dropping More TV In Favor Of Me-TV

KCRA takes the Me-TV affiliation from low powered KCSO-33.2 Now KTXL's Antenna TV will be getting some true competition.

Interesting.

What kind of market share do these sub channels pull in? Being a satellite TV viewer, I don't watch them. Just curious.

Not Sure Stewie.

KCRA-3.2 does preempt some Me-TV programming. They still repeat their 5:pM News at 7:pM Mon-Sat. Downside, I miss out on one episode of BATMAN on Saturday Nights. They also preempt 12O'Clock High at 4:AM in favor of Cold Case Files, and some E-I programming on Sunday Mornings in favor of a "KCRA Movie" which tends to be new movies and not classics. And I hear that the talk show "Katie" will preempt Daniel Boone weekdays at 9:AM this week. At least no classic shows are being preempted for infomercials.

Not Sure Stewie.

I'm not sure either, but I can tell you that Comcast has devoted a cable channel in San Francisco to Me-TV, which is KOFY-TV 20.2.

And that's the way Me likes it!
Me likes their affiliates to preempt some of their programming for newer non retro shows?
