I'm not against the show. It's certainly unusual and eclectic. I just question it's appeal among the listeners who are not Hispanic, and the likely short supply of those who would listen to such a show in the San Fernando Valley.
Among the artists mentioned on the FB page are Maná, which is ultra-AC, Carlos Vives, who is a soap opera star who does Afro-Antillean Colombian folk music, Juanes who, in addition to being very much over, is ultra-pop sounding, and Aterciopelados, a rock band that is pretty much gone with the departure several years ago of their singer. And you have Calle 13, which is reggaetón (hip hop with a panamenian flavor) and Molotov, which is hip hop with cuss words.
It's closer to World Music than "alternativo" (which it really is nowhere close to being) and, as I said, eclectic. If that's the intent, then you are on track.
