KCYE P.D. Gone!

Allaccess reports that R.W. Smith is gone from The Coyote and that the position has been eliminated. A full grade FM with no Program Director?

Join me as I write on the chalkboard and go figure.....
I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business, I like this business.

So if the position has been eliminated who is going to program it? Will Sean Lynch be given extra duties? Or will Beasley's Philly or Miami country PD add KCYE (even if LV is across the country from those markets). Or will consultant Joel Raab just give his input and the station runs with no PD?

As was said on an earlier port about Heidi Harris, one of the biggest problems in the media today is that everyone wants to talk, few listen.

Granted, KDWN has fewer listeners because Beasley management wants to do things their way. They, like all of us have the RIGHT to make

choices and run their stations the way they want. They own them and although sincere, sincerely wrong and they do have the freedom to

fail. And when they do they fail over and over again. Quite track record at it too!

Too bad employees their hard working employees PAY the ultimate price! Unemployment!!!!

Lets not fix it and make more money, FIRE people! The executive management paradigm that has prevailed in business for decades.

How many PDs have gone through there since they flipped to country? As I recall, it's been quite a revolving door.

LF

It was a revolving door at first but RW was there longer than the previous PDs combined.
