KD PD GOES BYE BYE

P.D. job available? Mr. Adams is leaving the building, with an un-renewed contract. Is that like being fired? Will they give the job to the Sports FM dude, who seems to be less than popular with his folks? Or, P.J. Kumanchik, who has more than earned it over the years. Adams/Kunkle has been in over his head since his promotion, and look at the HUGE changes on his watch. Not just Fred dying, but one change after another, looking to reclaim the "Golden Days" when they had a 50 share. Among those: Neil Bortz, Dr. Laura, Noon news wheel, Pirates gone, Pintek gone, Pintek returns, Bob Kopler retires, Milford fired, Miller fired (after beating Rush) plus many others. Some legacy. But he looked good in comparison to the man he replaced.

PJ had the job before and really wasn't trusted with much decision making.

I wouldn't necessarily call that chain of events Adams' "legacy." Those things happened while he was there, but a lot of those decisions were made at a level well above the PD with an eye solely on the bottom line.

the P-G referred to him as the Programming Manager.

Was that C++ or Java?
