KDAY/KDEY 93.5

Driving from Los Angeles to San Diego. I notice the KDAY and KDEY signal when I took the HWY 73 near UC Irvine that there's a whoosh sound coming from 93.5 is the whoosh sound is one of the KDAY signal (Redondo Beach) is fighting with KDEY signal (Ontario)?
