They've been running Christmas music all day today. Sweeper saying 'the Dream Team is coming...Monday morning...' then back to Christmas music. New morning show (they were running Rik Mikals & Michele Mathews in the mornings) or are they flipping formats? We don't have an AC station here or Adult Hits...
Plenty of nasty comments on Facebook as well!
 
Now it gets weirder. No commercials, still holiday music...and Bob Kingsley's countdown show nowhere to be found tonight! I smell a format flip...potentially Adult Contemporary, Adult Hits or even Classic Country. All three of those formats can be heard in the Tri-Cities but not here. Yakima hasn't had an AC in years, Adult Hits went away in 2014 when KRSE flipped to Classic Rock, and Classic Country went away in 2015 when KTCR-980 flipped to ESPN Deportes.
 
That was seriously the dumbest piece of radio 'stunting' I've ever heard. In my life. Townsquare annoyed and drove off listeners all of yesterday and early this morning...just to promote a new MORNING SHOW PERSONALITY!! Seriously Townsquare?! Back to regular country format, but some morning show jock that hasn't been there in five years is back at The Bull. Absolutely dumb and stupid move by Townsquare - you seriously think 12 hours of Christmas music provided a 'warm' welcome for some new morning guy?
