KDDS Boosters

I'm sure it does but there is always a trade-off area where the two field strengths are equal or similar. My guess would be Kent's East Hill area.

A few weeks ago I listened to 97.7 while riding the bus up to the airport, and found that at 518 up the hill to International Blvd and International Blvd across 518 the station is unlistenable from the booster interfering with the main station. So there you go. Right there at the main Sea-Tac car rental facility, where visitors are deciding which stations to program in, they might skip over 97.7 entirely.

Somehow I'm thinking the last thing the vast majority of visitors renting cars at Sea-Tac are deciding is which stations to program into the car radio.

You must not travel or rent cars much then. While leaving the rental lot, that's the first thing I do, start scanning stations.

When I used to travel for business setting the presets was the first thing that I did. But we are radio and TV people… We do not represent the vast majority of of travelers, which is what I said in my comment.

The real point is around SeaTac may be the only un-listenable area due to the booster. Nobody has reported back from other places in similar topographic conditions like the East Hill area of Kent and potentially even along I-5 passing Southcenter. When crossing interference from boosters is experienced, it isn't just a little multipath to average radios but, as my family in the England say.."A dogs dinner".
