KDGE 102.1 HD2 Changes?

This morning, I heard a few songs not normally aired on DFW's KDGE 102.1 (The Edge) HD2 counterpart "The Cutting Edge":

- "I'll Never Break Your Heart" by Backstreet Boys
- "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain
- "All For You" by Sister Hazel
- "Everyday Is A Winding Road" by Sheryl Crow

Have they tweaked their format on this station? Possibly the old "Mix" Hot AC format? So far, I haven't heard any station IDs.

UPDATE: Mystery solved. KDGE 102.1 HD2 is now known as "Old School Edge", broadcasting a diverse classic mix of Alternative hits from the 90s back with fewer rock hits from the early 2000s.

I wouldn't think Backstreet Boys or Sheryl Crow is anything close to alternative anything. That's like pop or adult contemporary. Sometimes I wonder who they let program these subchannels (and in some cases, the main channels).

Jeez, with scintillating provocative programming like that I'll have to get my IBOC radio out of mothballs. Oh, I forgot I'm lucky to get Boston FM HD's with my yagi on the roof at 40 miles out.
