Hello

Any chance of KDGE flipping to their HD format like KZPS did with their format? I would like that to happen, get rid of Lex & Terry and start over again.
 
I thought they pulled the plug on them this morning, because they were playing music for the first 30 minutes when they were supposed to be on, but I guessed not. They really need to pull the plug all together because they stink.
 
and along with Opie and Anthony,John Boy & Billy,The Morning Sports(?) Show with Tom on 990, Pugs and Kelly,and the dispatcher for Yellow Cab.
 
Lex and Terry........can someone please put a muzzle on those guys!!!!!
 
I take it that time has not helped them any. I guess I still hold a grudge of sorts from when Q-102 dumped Bo and Jim to bring in Lex and Terry in 1997. Now I couldn't tell you when I last listened to either show. I did find a 'Best of Lex and Terry' CD a few years ago ($1 at Half-Price Books, if that's any indicator;) the bits chosen for it were actually pretty funny, but just their billboards of today are enough of a turn-off to me to ever try listening to them live. I know a couple of 20 year old guys who live and breathe it and hang on L&T's every sentence, so maybe that's the target audience.
 
I'm just an out of market guy who heard them for a bit in the mid-late 90's in Jacksonville. So I started listening to their podcast. I have no idea on their ratings, I just assumed from the sound of their show, they had a lot of listenership in DFW and other markets.

Really though, how are they doing? Not your opinions, numbers.

Doesn't look like anyone who knows is going to answer you. I would be curious to know where they rank as well.
 
But seriously folks, isn't it sad? Big D used to be a hotbed for morning show talent. Kidd (in his heyday), Fly Jock, Ron, Hal & Jay, Stevens & Pruitt, and on and on...

Now we have L&T billboards, Dorsey pleading for life (support), Mrs. Really Crilley and that dude, and 'fill your name here' on KVIL. Hey, knock on wood, we still have Jody Dean :eek:
 
It is Pretty sad.Bo and Jim were great on Q102..Labell and Rody..now its all sanitized cure your insomnia. KVIL....has been issued a court appearance citation from the makers of Nytol for patent enfringement.
 
I miss Tom Carson with Bo and Jim on Q102. Oh and Lockerroom Lindstrom with sports. Now that was funny stuff. :D
 
Does anyone remeber the first morning show on the Edge... Nailer & King? They also had another good morning show at one time I want to say the guys name was John Ford? Help me out here...
 
don't forget my personal favorite, Rocco Pendola! Bring THAT guy back.
 
Look at it this way, KDMX has leaped over them and KZPS is knocking on the door in the new books. KDGE already lost it's EDGE the moment L&T showed up and they attempted to turn it into an Eagle hybrid.
