KDKA 100.1 improved signal?

So does anybody know exactly what improvements they made to the 100.1 FM signal? I can't really tell a difference for my house in Greentree. I did notice that for a while last week they had the stereo carrier turned on.

They moved their Transmitter from the 1250 AM tower in Hays to the WDSY Tower on Troy Hill. Same Power (99 watts) but better location.

I'm here near the Mt. Lebanon area and it seems to be coming fairly alright with a car radio.

I happened to be in Pittsburgh for a few days last week and spent time listening to KDKA, mostly during afternoon drive. 2 things struck me: 1) They mention their FM signal first when giving their call letters, rather than listing their legacy frequency first. It's KDKA...100.1 FM and 1020 AM. 2) How little talk there is during afternoon drive. With traffic on the 5's followed by a few spots, and news at the top and bottom of every hour, there was only time for some brief talk and maybe quick banter with a caller or two before it was time to kick it back to either traffic or news again.

Listing the FM signal first, even if it's a translator, has become a pretty standard practice everywhere, at least among the big companies.
