Maybe KDKA will still carry Overnight America? Herman Cain is losing his Westwood One nationally syndicated show but, since it's based at WSB Atlanta, owned by Cox, he will still be carried on several Cox Talk Radio stations, in Orlando, Jacksonville and a few other markets.
So will Grayson still get heard on KDKA and WCCO Minneapolis, since those are the other CBS-owned Talk stations that carry the show? Will they just pick up the KMOX feed some way apart from Westwood One? Or will they have to invent their own overnight programming, maybe running several of their daytime hours between Midnight and 5am? After all, didn't CBS decide to share Grayson among its four owned stations before anyone decided to get Westwood One involved to syndicate Overnight America to non-CBS stations? (The fourth station was WBZ Boston, which carried the show for a few weeks but then brought back its own local overnight show due to listener complaints.)
