KDKA & Post-Gazette Story

Yes, KDKA did a nice job with their coverage. I was tuned in that evening for much of it. Very sad that we're losing another newspaper here in the US, and such a legacy paper at that...

At one time, in my hometown of Boston, we had 12 newspapers(all of which were printed on Newspaper Row in what is now Downtown Crossing). Now, newspapers have gone the way of the dinosaur; people want to get news on the internet or on YouTube.

Follow up to the Post-Gazette shutdown: A non-profit from Baltimore is buying the paper:

The question is how will the Banner handle the strike that caused the paper to shutter.

From what I can determine from the article, the new owner won't have to absorb any previous contracts.
