KDKA-TV Weather

I just noticed tonight that KDKA-TV is showing "Weather Bug" and no reference to ACCU Weather. When did this happen? Maybe they still have ACCU Weather too and I just didn't catch it.

Sorry Boss, I should have asked your permission first. I've read other topics relating to local tv before. I guess I could ask if KDKA-AM has also dropped AccuWeather, then you'd have approved my posting. I am begging for your forgiveness sir.
 
The Accu-Weather deal is over in Gateway Center. CBS throught they wanted too $$ to continue.

WAMO has picked up The Weather Channel.

Thanks for the update. I thought money issues was probably the case. I'm thinking WeatherBug would be a lot less $$ to use on Television AND Radio.
 
About 1/3 the cost as the deals are normally structured in markets this size. Accu-Weather is a great product backed by considerable resources and all of that costs money.
