KDKAradio.com

And now, for something not related to 93.7 (except by common ownership)...

I was browsing KDKAradio.com this evening, and one of the banner pictures they use is an aerial shot of PNC Park. Anybody find this ironic given that the Pirates are no longer on 1020? I mean, in one sense, it helps identify them as "Pittsburgh's station", but at the same time, doesn't it call attention to the fact that they don't broadcast baseball anymore?

Good point. I'm sure no one there thought about it and went for a generic postcard picture of Pittsburgh. Their website seems to be an afterthought and often has bad information. When Art Pallan died, they misspelled his name on the site. The history section used to identify Rege Cordic as "Rege Cord." Some stations actually put some thought into their websites and make them valuable to users. KDKA doesn't seem to care.

KDKA didn't get to where it's at today by making correct, well-considered decisions.

Ditto for their parent company.
