Well...#1, if I was the PD, I'd probably quit my job, because I possess absolutely ZERO of the skill set necessary to identify the chemistry that needs to exist between 2 people to be together in Morning drive.
I would kick myself for being so off base...what was I thinking? Just because she's hot, means NOTHING. You can't look hot on the radio.
I'd go back in time & rethink my decision to bring 2 people into a Top 20 market who didn't live here, moved in & haven't lived here for more than a month, know NOTHING about the market and who haven't been on the air together before.
I'd give up...because it's too late.
There's no way to create chemistry between people that doesn't exist...much like there's also no way to teach someone to be funny.

i know, 93.3 is KDKB, and 98,is the 'real rock station' there -
( i am from buffalo/niagara falls, *USA : ) but visit
phx, when i can - awesome town!! anyways,
5ive years ago, the "morning sickness" got my attn,
and since then, i thought: that is theeeeeeeeee perfect
name for a morning show !!

[EDIT] what do you expect from a guy who has to has his name and face all over major giveaways. speaking of which their newest "contest" is to win bobs car. get this, its a lease! the winners credit has to be able to qualify to "win" the car! gumpdusky does it again.

In fairness to Gumpdusky, leases seem to be the norm for "new" car giveaways. My first boss in radio used to ask me this question: "What is your number one priority as a DJ?" The first time he asked me that question, my response was: "To entertain the listeners." His reply: "No, to make money for the owners."

It's all about the bottom line, sad to say. Especially when it comes to giveaways.

Be patient. Everyone wants immediate results . We all know a morning show needs to be focused at all times whether its market 15 or market 265 . Its a relatively NEW morning show right? The chemistry will eventually come to life in a few months. 1 or 2 years 5 or 6 books. We'd love to add our inputs on what we would do on a morning show however KDKB chose to hire these two and for good reasons. There is potiential . Good successful long standing morning shows need time to become 'successful' . You cant throw in the towel after a few books . I would be having an aircheck session with thier PD to find out what can be done to make the morning show a success. Oh no. I mentioned air check sessions....Its been at least 5 years since my last aircheck session
