I wonder if KDKD had some operations association with KMAM in Butler, Missouri. Geographically, the cities are about 30 miles apart, but KDKD-FM, at 3kw/200 ft at the time, would have been tough to hear in Butler.
I just listened to the file. I worked at KDKD from late 1980-2004 and did contract work on KMOE Butler. KMOE was the first part of file. They were at 92.1 and shared freq with a Sedalia, Mo station. I always getting DX's as on many days the signals would sail. Sometimes even when we had local signal problems. Both our signals as well as other locals had good days and bad.
