Please, for the love of all that is holy shut up.

Maybe you are a well meaning kid who, just like when we were your age, thinks they know everything. Or maybe you are a raving lunatic prone to 9 paragraph diatribes that make little, if any sense and regardless of topic, and always come back to every station should play dance music and you should decide what they call their formats. It is pointless to debate how fundamentally wrong you are on almost everything, a tremendous feat given the volume of stuff you write. Let's just sum it up with the fact that RADIO and MUSIC are not the same business, do not operate under same business model and both can operate independent of the other.

Might I suggest an I-Pod?

I'm just saying all that I haven't been saying for months, and yes, the music industry does play a bit of a role on what radio stations do at some level. Maybe it's not the same business, which I never said I was.
I started off by saying most of what I say is based on opinion, therefore it cannot be wrong. Usually I base my opinions on fact, However, in this case a great extent of what I say is based more on LOGIC.

You cannot say I'm wrong, not only because I started out by claiming I'm going based on opinion, but also because no matter what you say, it's always going to be wrong or right to others, regardless of how much proof you do or don't have or even regardless of how true or not true it may be. Bottom line is people believe what they wish to believe and can spin things in anyway to make what they want to believe be true. Look at religion, politics...etc Everyone is somehow always right!!! I even see some things on this message board from many people that.... well, can be questioned and looked at in so many different ways.

I've had a lot to say about radio for some time now, and now I have time to say it all at once, so therefore I'll say it now while it is fresh in my mind. If I want to come one or two nights and create a novel then  disappear for 8 weeks rather than pop in everyday every two hours just to say one little thing or argue, that's what I'll do.

WHY I (USUALLY) ALWAYS POST IN FULL, PRECISE DETAIL:
I'm not a simple one-liner type person, where I make an incomplete statement or simple one liner that is so vague it can be misunderstood or lead to questions that I will have to answer and in the end I end up having to explain in full detail anyway. I give full detail, for the same reason a Presidential speech is in full detail - to say all that's on my mind all at one time, in such a way that people get and clearly understand the information I'm trying to deliver specifically, with the least amount of possibility of people misunderstanding, and the least amount of questions being asked afterwards. I don't want to have to answer a question later when my mind might be somewhere else and not prepared to concentrate on a certain topic, when I could easily explain it all thoroughly at the time I wish to. Full detail can also kill rumors, arguments or misunderstandings that lead to unnecessary controversy, if done correctly, and this is why I do it. You cannot argue with someone who has already said all they have to say, therefore, in the long run, one post and no more replies to the likely responses to come (in a potential argument) saves time....

I can't see anywhere I could've been wrong because no where did I say I was instituting laws, commandments, or stating absolute facts. Many of my opinions might be based on logic, but they are still opinions.

Lastly, I do have to make sure I make it clear I am judging many of the stations from a dance music point of view, so this is why I keep talking about dance music in every post (...and yes, what I just said does make sense, but in a complicated way.) Most people will only read one thing in one section, then form their opinion and that's it, so I make sure to put as much info as possible in ALL sections I post in. The only place I could see myself being possibly wrong is when I say classic hip hop is the way to go these days, but... I bet it will happen. For ever one who says I'm wrong for whatever reasons, there are others who believe I'm right, so once again, in the end, it all comes down to the point that

IT'S ALL OPINION.

The people who agree find evidence to support. The ones who don't find evidence for why I'm wrong. I've already heard it all. Some people may base their opinion based purely on superficial things, some may base their opinion on charts and numbers...etc. I normally base mine on logic. I leave it up to people to decide which portions of my posts were opinions based on LOGIC or EMOTION - either way it's still opinion

EXAMPLE:
1. a station labeled as RHYTHMIC. ..
FACT: it doesn't HAVE to be by law, but LOGICALLY, it would only make sense that it sticks to that traditional format, and that's my OPINION.

2. All stations should be wiped out and start over from scratch or.. KVVA 107.1 should be bought out...
FACT: it doesn't HAVE to happen, but EMOTIONALLY, this indicates in other words that I'm trying to say there needs to be change in radio - which is an opinion most would agree with!!

I may look new to the message board based on number of posts, but that doesn't make me a kid, and If I knew everything I wouldn't have to post opinions.....
...And this is what I mean by having to explain in great detail! But it's good because I already covered everything, so now I can move on to something else since the argument is done because it's most likely I also already covered everything within any type of response I might get to this.

Wow Bruce....i think u just encouraged him. Does he really think we finish reading his novels? Less is More. No one cares.
