KDOC Returns Mission: Impossible to Weeknights

KDOC is tweaking its schedule come the first of the year, and even at this late date, it's very much a work in progress. At first, it was announced that Mission: Impossible was going to air weeknights at 6pm beginning Jan. 1, with Cheers moving to 11pm-Midnight. Now it looks as if they are going to leave the 4-7pm comedy block (The Nanny, Mad About You, Becker, and Cheers) just as it is now. Mr. Phelips and the gang will be taking the 11-Midnight slot. Either way, Carson's Comedy Classics is being reduced to 30 minutes from 10:30-11pm weeknights. The other known change at the moment is that Hawaii Five-O is being moved from 2pm to the 8pm prime time slot. At this point, the fates of The Untouchables, Alfred Hitchcock, and Night Gallery remain up in the air. There are a few new shows being considered to be added after the new year, but I cannot say what they might be. I can tell you the new weekday schedule will be released sometime early Tuesday (12/19) so come back then.

Till then......stay tuned.
