Does anybody here listen to Wayne & Franco Sunday's on KDOX AM 1280? I think they are on from 5P-9P. They are pretty entertaining. They did a bit where they went up and down the AM dial and poked fun at every station. They laughed at KMZQ and said the kids would shut off their i-Pods so they could listen to music on AM. They made the point that there was nothing else to listen to except them. At that point I would have to agree, one of their competitors KDWN was playing an infomercial while KXNT was running a very dry state government public affairs show.
 
I believe that show features former personality for KSTJ.....J Man (although he obviously doesn't use that name on KDOX). Is this the show that you refer to?

Yes, I believe Wayne is J Man.
 
I listen to Wayne & Franco most Sunday nights; they're on from 5PM - 8 PM. I listen to a lot of talk radio (local and syndicated) and their show is among my favorites. They have a good local perspective and an easy manner, which I like. I caught their show the night they were running up and down the AM dial, comparing themselves to the programming that was running. Very funny! I hope KDOX does right by them (and us), and keeps them around.
