KDWN -The change comes Wednesday

Talking to an employee at Beasley today was told the change has been delayed till Wednesday, New format will almost eliminate local talk shows. News and info block with a tie in with local fox5 from 5-9am with John Paul Shaffer and I believe current morning host Hart Kirch, Jim Dallas will we around but to what extent, Neal Boortz from Atlanta 9-12, Jerry Doyle 12-3 Savage live at 3 . Roy Masters continues his long association with KDWN,no surprise since he runs TRN which syndictates Doyle and Savage, Jim Bohannon in the evening ,Not sure about late night and overnight ,doubtful it would be Part time Pete but he may have some role on weekends which would be dominated by the usual brokered shows. A final salute to the late AJ Smith and Gm Claire Reise who ran the station their way and never needed or wanted a consultant for their station.
 
I'm happy to hear that they may be keeping Hart Kirch, but I'm sad to hear that Jim Dallas may be on his way out. To be honest, Hart is the main reason I listen to KDWN, so if he goes I'll probably go elsewhere for a morning talk show.
 
Unfortunately...the change came today. :(

I thought I had at least two more mornings of Hart Kirch, but apparently not.
