He's (presumably) from WA - the Mariners' season was over in, like, July :)

But it does make things more certain -- is Monday morning too soon for a flip?

In case your not able to hear the stations, they are now telling KEAR 106.9
listeners to tune to 610AM now as "the new home of Family Radio in the bay area", as the take over of 106.9 by Infinity Broadcasting will happen in early October.

The Oakland A's play their last
game on KFRC-610AM Sunday October 2, 2005 at 1:05 PM. I would think that
The New 106.9 FM K*** (Fill in your favorite letters after the "K") will debut
on the 3rd at 12:01AM, as KFRC-610 AM ceases to exist and eighty years of
radio history is sent into eternnal damnnation and the final nail is hammered into its coffin. Sorry, I could not contain myself....

Look for a delay in the flip. Possibly as long as a couple of weeks. No PD or talent in place.
