12-14-15 KECR ENGINEERING STA REQUEST
KECR EXPERIENCED A FAILURE IN THE ANTENNA SWITCHING SYSTEM THAT RESULTED IN
EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO THE SWITCHING COMPONENTS AND IS UNABLE TO AUTOMATICALLY
CHANGE BETWEEN DAY AND NIGHT MODES. THE SWITCHING COMPONENTS WERE MANUALLY
PLACED IN NIGHT MODE AND IT IS BEING OPERATED IN CONTINUOUS NIGHT MODE UNTIL
REPAIRS ARE COMPLETED. WE REQUEST OPERATION AT VARIANCE WITH 73.1560(A)(1).
FIELD STRENGTH MEASUREMENTS ARE IN COMPLIANCE AS SPECIFIED IN 73.1560(A)(2).
REPAIRS HAVE COMMENCED AND ARE EXPECT TO BE COMPLETED WITHIN 90 DAYS. THIS
OPERATION ALLOWS KECR TO SATISFY ITS PUBLIC SERVICE COMMITMENT WITH MINIMUM
IMPACT.

Hopefully this wasn't caused by one of the many rattlesnake intrusions..

Good thing we are not adhering to military communications protocol of the 1960's because typewriters and TTY's of that era operated in caps only.

Also, and as a personal note, for some of us *ahem* aging eyeballs all caps isn't such a bad thing (and I don't mean to be shouting about it).
