Within the last few month I've noticed that KEDA's signal is bad! So bad that they almost don't sound like a local station. Is something wrong with the transmitter and have they always sounded like this? I read where when the the new owners take over they are going to put the station on an FM translator. Anyone know more about that?

Yeah I've noticed it's been weak for, I think for over a year now.
As for if they're gonna put the station on an FM translator, yeah, they most certainly are. No idea when it'll happen, though. Hopefully soon.

It'll probably happen soon. I've seen two of his stations quickly pick up translators (both conjunto stations) when they signed on. It is also no secret that he has tried translators (illegally) in San Antonio before, but probably got caught. If he was desperate enough to do it illegally, you can bet he will probably do it again since he can now do it legally.

KEDA now sounds perfect with no transmition problems. I'm hearing the conjunto music loud and clear on San Antonio's north west side.

It was the transmitter after all. I was listening today and heard the DJ mentioning they have a new one.
And it's also good to know they're not becoming automated.
