I was stationed at Fort Polk the summer and fall of 1970, before going to that hell hole called viet nam. If not for KEEL radio I would of never made it through basic training, its hard to realize if you were never in basic training and on your way to combat. Being from New York City it was all new to me down south but KEEL made me feel at home with the great tunes. I could not receive them that good at night but in the day they were a powerhouse and energetic. Thank you KEEL for making me deal with those hard times. Does this station still exist.
