Keep an ear on 98.7

Just in case you're wondering, this Christian Regional format won't be the final format. There still testing the signal.

Nothing but dead air this morning. Pretty decent signal down Fry road.

Here in Houston it's decent also unless you go to downtown and east of downtown you will start hearing more static. I'm surprised this signal is on since it's right next door to 98.5. Won't be able to have a better coverage here in town .

And maybe this Regional Christian Music station will stay as that. They're starting to add more bands, and also starting to play more Cumbias. So this might be Houstons only CHRISTIAN GRUPERO MUSIC STATION.

Have they thought of asking KSBJ to allow them on an HD-3? MUCH better coverage than all these little translators.

But no listeners. I believe that the statistics show that only one "pure" HD station (one without an FM translator) has ever shown up in ratings.

Very strange that I work in the Heights close to I10 and the radio we have doesn't pick up La RAZA 98.5 but it picks up this 98.7 Translator..

Are you closer to 98.7 then? If not then I suspect the translator may be running more power than normal. 98.5 should look into it.

I have no idea where the translator is located. I am in THE HEIGHTS and I10 close to Studewood Park.
