HONESTLY saradio1 made me realize something serious and important about the Beat and the new power station and i thank that person for it. what i posted was ignorant with out thinking about both stations!!! i SAY BEAT kEEP doing what your doing and stay strong with your format . dont turn weak and not try hard anymore because obviously your #1 in san antonio for A REASON....I MEAN you have obviously been doing good work and doing your homework behind the scene. so what im trying to say is maybe just do some minor adjustments and keep you marketing of the station strong and keep your established identity with the community strong and dont try to falter to POWER. Now POWER dont just be another wannabe station. you have to bring something to the BOOTH and STATION that our city never had. DONT copy the BEAT they have thier own style and hopefully they will keep doing what they are doing and improve on it and stay strong. WHAT IM trying to say is why not HAVE BOTH stations in SA. that would be so awsome to have 2 stations that compete and make each other better. it makes the listening better for the community and WHY NOT??? we are a big city we can support BOTH. BY the BEAT STAYING strong they have nothing to worry about. but at the same time you cant get arrogant and act like POWER aint there so your gonna have to step up A LITTLE. POWER JUST BRING YOUR OWN STYLE AS WELL AND ACKNOWLEDGE THE BEAT. DONT COPY THEM ..... GIVE THEM RESPECT BECAUSE THEY HAVE WORKED HARD TO GET WHERE THEY HAVE GOT. I WANT BOTH STATIONS WHY NOT??? I DONT JUST WANT ONE VARIETY IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN A MONOPOLY AND I HOPE AND PRAY TO GOD THAT WE HAVE 2 FOR A LONG TIME. I PROMISE san antonio IF WE HAVE TWO HIP HOP STATIONS OUR MUSIC WILL GET BETTER AND THE STATIONS WILL WORK HARDER FOR YOU!!!
 
i think it can work but its the stations you gotta sell this idea too! WHY NOT HAVE 2 hip hop stations is what POWER 106's slogan should be instead of trying to topple the beat...that makes them sound arrogant and sounds like the BEAT is always going to be better.
