Keep the Spouse Off the Radio!

First it was Imus, more recently Kim Komando and now Ric Edelman. These segments with the spouse bring nothing to the table. They are generally off-topic and always boring. Are there any more examples other than husband/wife teams?

Agreed. In most cases these segments are terrible.

I haven't heard them, but I would expect Mr. Kommando, aka The Nearly Famous Barry Young of KFYI Phoenix fame, would at least sound professional. He spent many years doing middays on KFYI.

Yes he does sound professional but so do most telephone answering messages if you know what I mean.
