Check this out....expect the new co-host of the former Sam and Bob show to be none other than.....wait for it.....Bucky Godbolt from the Zone! Yes that's right, Bob Cole's new co-host (sidekick more like it) will be Michael "Bucky" Godbolt, former UT running backs coach and current morning drive host on KVET-AM. Why? I wish I knew. Even more bizarre? The show will be simulcast on both KVET-AM and FM.

I think we can all say goodbye to the Zone now.
 
Naw, the Zone ain't goin nowhere. But the move won't help the BOB COLE EXTRAVAGANZA as much as management thinks...
Gee I miss Jim WWW Travis and Arleigh Duff. And Penny Reeves. I even miss Kim Burley. And what ever became of Sonny Butler?
 
i think they just grasping at straws right now ( the management). the some of the other dj's grantchester mention i remember.
 
This is going to happen April 1. And we'll probably wish it were a joke. I foresee months, maybe years, of Bob Cole trying to convince the audience that he knows as much (or more) about sports than Bucky. I will be curious how long Bucky can tolerate Bob.

And I believe "Saling" was a big hit for Christopher Cross back in 1980. ;D
 
Let me add to this by reminding you that the Zone (KVET-AM) still doesn't have a PD and is down two talent who have been let go or jumped ship (or both). Would you want to be an incoming PD and told that 1) you don't have your own morning show, 2) most of your talent are the part timers who are left after the other were let go?
